Over the weekend, Kylie packed her wardrobe with archival designer dresses and minimalist pieces, embracing the “quiet luxury” aesthetic she has become known for. Among her standout looks was a fiery red bikini that exuded sophistication and style.
Kylie wore a bandeau bra top in a vibrant cherry red, which beautifully contrasted with the white yacht she was lounging on. While bandeaus are a common bikini style, her choice of bottoms was refreshingly different. In the same striking red, she opted for ultra-low-rise boy shorts, reminiscent of swimsuits featured on ’60s magazine covers.
These boy shorts were a departure from the cheeky styles often favored by her family, like thong bikinis and high-cut sets. The modest cut of the boy shorts offered a fresh take on swimwear, standing out against the more revealing trends her siblings prefer.
Interestingly, Kylie tagged her ready-to-wear label, Khy, in her bikini photo, sparking speculation that swimwear might soon be part of Khy’s merchandise. Since its launch last October, Khy has released various collections, including faux leather drops, puffer jackets, fitted dresses, and denim, but swimwear has yet to be introduced. However, her latest collection, launching on June 6, features an array of red dresses, one of Kylie’s summer favorites.
Red appears to be the color of Kylie’s summer. She wore red multiple times during the trip, including a striking Khaite fire-red dress paired with gold earrings. Her bold color choices and chic style continue to set trends, making her a constant fashion inspiration.
